Depena Reserve, Dolls Point Carpark Upgrade: Bayside

A full upgrade of the carpark at Depena Reserve, Dolls Point is due to start on Monday 2 February.

This important project is designed to improve safety, accessibility, and overall usability for all members of the community.

The upgrade will help improve traffic flow and parking efficiency, particularly during busy school drop-off period.

The upgrade will also help enhance safety through traffic calming measures and designated pedestrian crossings. While the installation of better lighting and CCTV cameras will help deter hooning.

New pathways will improve accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists, and people with disabilities.

Existing trees will be preserved to maintain the environmental value of the area.

The project is being staged to allow one carpark to remain open to the public during construction, traffic control will be in place throughout the project, however parking spaces will be temporarily reduced during construction.

Pedestrian and school drop off lane access to The Scots College will be maintained as a priority.

Council appointed MSA Civil, an experienced and qualified construction company, to deliver these works. Construction is scheduled to begin Monday 2 February and is expected to be completed in August 2026.
