Disturbance on Train Investigation

Fremantle Detectives are investigating a disturbance that occurred on-board a Mandurah bound train on Friday, 25 September.

Around 5pm, a group of teenagers were a train which had departed the Perth Train Station and was heading to Mandurah when it is believed they were involved in a verbal altercation with other passengers and a scuffle ensued. A passenger pushed the emergency button and the train stopped at the Aubin Grove Train Station.

As Public Transit Authority (PTA) officers were detaining some of the group an altercation occurred which resulted in the officers deploying pepper spray.

Detectives wish to speak to anyone who was on the train or at the train station and witnessed the incident.
