Disturbance, Toowoomba City

Police have charged two people and are continuing investigations following a physical disturbance in Toowoomba City this afternoon, 3 June.

It will be alleged that around 1:55pm, officers were called to a Margaret Street address following reports of an altercation between a group of several people.

Upon arrival, officers located and arrested a 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, both from Glenvale, nearby.

A 19-year-old man was located nearby with minor injuries and was transported to Toowoomba Hospital for treatment.

The 16-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy have both been charged with affray.

They are both due to appear in Toowoomba Childrens Court on 11 June.

Toowoomba Detectives believe those involved in the incident are known to each other and are continuing their enquiries to locate those outstanding people involved.

Officers are also appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have any relevant information that could assist to come forward.

There is no ongoing threat to the public.
