Registrations for DockDogs and K9 Superwall are now open for another action-packed round of thrilling, family-friendly entertainment at Anderson Gardens for Our Townsville 2025.
The dynamic DockDogs event features dogs of all shapes and sizes launching off a dock into a custom-built pool, competing for distance and dramatic airtime in front of cheering crowds.
Also returning is the popular K9 Superwall, where fearless pups test their climbing skills by scaling a vertical wall, showing off their athleticism and determination.
Animal behaviourist Farmer Dave Graham is bringing DockDogs and K9 Superwall back to Townsville after making a splash at Our Townsville in 2023.
Farmer Dave said he was champing at the bit to bring the massively popular event back to Townsville.
"Every two years, I get to bring the most exciting and engaging canine events up to North Queensland giving an opportunity for the dogs of the north and the humans that love them to participate in the most fun sports on four legs," he said.
"Whether you bring your dog along to compete in the high energy activations, dress up in the Pet Mardi Gras, or just bring your husband or neighbour along you will be having ball."
Townsville Acting Mayor Ann-Maree Greaney said DockDogs was just one of the many exciting offerings at this year's Our Townsville event.
"Our Townsville is all about celebrating the vibrant and adventurous lifestyle of North Queensland, and where better to do it than at Anderson Gardens surrounded by the best our city has to offer," Cr Greaney said.
"Visitors to Our Townsville will be able to check out information stalls, take part in workshops, explore our interactive spaces, enjoy live entertainment and more, all for free."
DockDogs will take place at Anderson gardens from 9:30am to 4pm on Saturday 14 June, as well as at Our Townsville from 9am to 4pm on Sunday 15 June 2025 at Anderson Gardens.
