Donations make a difference

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused increased demand for emergency groceries, just as food charities have been struggling to get enough food for those in need.

This week The Curry Tree, a small family owned operation, donated pre-prepared food to Midland Meals, who provide around 700 meals every week for people experiencing hardship.

You can find Loren Pratt and his team of Midland Meal's volunteers in the car park behind Midland Police Station every evening from 6pm. They're also working hard to make sure social distancing and hygiene measures are in place to keep everyone safe.

Loren said they are very grateful for donations from City of Swan Councillors, community members and local farmers.
