The City of Light is set to welcome 2026 in spectacular style, with two dazzling fireworks displays over Elizabeth Quay as part of the City's biggest New Year's Eve celebration yet.
Roving performers, floating-stage DJ sets, food trucks, a dedicated Lotterywest Family Fun Zone with free carnival rides, and two massive firework shows will light up the night - creating one of the most exciting ways to ring in the New Year.
City of Perth Lord Mayor Bruce Reynolds said this year's program will again feature two fireworks displays at Elizabeth Quay, with the first at 8:30pm followed by the show-stopping midnight display to mark the arrival of 2026.
"Each year, our family-friendly celebrations attract thousands of people into the City, and this year's event will be even bigger and better," Lord Mayor Reynolds said.
Barrack Square will come alive, with an interactive circus and cabaret-style aerial performance ahead of the late fireworks, plus plenty of food trucks and seating to enjoy throughout the night.
This year's festivities will also extend to Supreme Court Gardens, home to the Lotterywest Family Fun Zone - the perfect spot for families, complete with free rides, shade and a range of food truck options.
"If the crowds at Elizabeth Quay aren't your thing, the fireworks can also be seen and heard from a special vantage spot in Birdiya Drive near the Convention Centre," the Lord Mayor said.
"Partygoers can also head to Northbridge, which will host its own midnight firework display, and many City restaurants will be open throughout the evening."
"There's no shortage of entertainment - come for the fireworks and stay to enjoy everything Elizabeth Quay has to offer, from delicious food trucks to our world-class restaurants and bars."
Buses and trains will be operating all night to make sure you get to the fireworks on time and home safely, with free travel in place from midnight until 6am on 1 January 2026. There will be road closures in place across Perth CBD that may affect your journey.
