Draft Budget 2023-24

The draft Budget 2023-24 has been prepared based on the priorities contained in the Boroondara Community Plan (the Plan), which was developed in consultation with over 5,000 community members in 2021.

Importantly, the draft Budget 2023-24 aligns with Council's 10-year Financial Plan, and includes a detailed 4-year horizon, reflecting the priorities the community asked us to focus on over the next 4-year and 10-year terms.

The draft Budget 2023-24 is now available for our community to view until Tuesday 6 June 2023, before proceeding to Council for adoption on Monday 19 June 2023.

Community members wishing to propose items for future budget consideration, can submit these to [email protected] between Wednesday 24 May and Tuesday 6 June 2023. All submissions received will be considered as part of the development of the Budget 2024-25.

Community groups seeking additional funding to support various initiatives in 2023-24 are encouraged to apply for Council's Annual Community Strengthening Grants. Applications are open until Sunday 28 May, and are designed to provide financial support for new, one-off projects and activities which strengthen the Boroondara community.
