Dried cannabis seized in Clayton South

Caulfield Divisional Response Unit officers arrested and charged a woman today following the seizure of a number of cannabis plants in Clayton South this afternoon.

As part of an ongoing drug investigation investigators executed a search warrant in Orloff Close uncovering an alleged cannabis hydroponic set-up about 12.30pm.

Over 90 cannabis plants were seized along with an amount of alleged dried cannabis with a street value over $120,000.

The 22-year-old Vietnamese national was charged with traffick and cultivate a commercial amount of cannabis and theft of electricity.

She is set to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court for a remand application this evening.
