Drink driver intercepted in Caulfield North

A drink driver has been charged after a car crash in Caulfield North on Wednesday 29 April.

It is alleged a white Range Rover struck up to three unoccupied parked cars on Inkerman Road about 10.30pm.

Police attended the scene and the driver underwent a preliminary breath test before returning an evidentiary breath test with a reading of .109

A 34-year-old East Bentleigh man will be charged with careless driving, exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol, refused oral drug test and drive while suspended.

The man will be summonsed to appear at a magistrates' court at a later date.
