Get your movie watching essentials ready as Chinchilla, Dalby, Tara, and Condamine prepare to host free drive-in movies this September.

Families, friends, and film-lovers of all ages are guaranteed an unforgettable night with individual screenings of Spies in Disguise, GOAT, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Bad Guys.

Council Spokesperson for Community and Cultural Development Councillor Peter Saxelby said the Drive-in Movies offered a fun, family-friendly experience that brought communities together for an enjoyable evening under the stars.

"The Drive-in Movies continue to be a favourite across our region, and the strong community support means we can bring the experience to different locations each year," Cr Saxelby said.

"Council is proud to be able to deliver these free activations to the region, creating the magic of the drive-in movie experience for the whole community.

"This year we are excited to offer a different film at each location, giving communities their own unique movie night experience, adding an exciting element to this much-loved event.

"Attendees are encouraged to bring along blankets, chairs, and their cosiest movie essentials to make the most of the outdoor movie experience."

Local community groups will be serving up food and drink for purchase at each location.
