Driver sought after boy seriously injured at Windsor

Inquiries are continuing to identify and locate a member of the public who drove a seriously injured teenage boy to hospital after an assault at Windsor overnight.

About 8pm yesterday (Monday 9 September 2019), officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command were called to Hawkesbury Hospital after a 16-year-old boy presented with serious injuries to his hand and shoulder.

The teenager is undergoing further treatment at the Children's Hospital at Westmead. His current condition is unknown.

It is believed the boy was set upon by a group while he was near netball courts on Mileham Street, South Windsor.

An unknown person drove the boy to hospital, who police are appealing to identify and speak with.
