Drug charges, Broadbeach Waters

Detectives have charged three men with possession of dangerous drugs after executing a search warrant at Broadbeach Waters on Friday morning.

Police located dangerous drugs including cocaine, cannabis and testosterone at the Rebecca Court address.

A 25-year-old has been charged with five counts of possession of dangerous drugs, one count of possession of utensils and one count of possessing anything used in the commission of a crime.

A 29-year-old has been charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of utensils.

A 47-year old was charged with four counts of possessing dangerous drugs and other charges.

The two men in their 20s will appear at Southport Magistrates Court next month while the 47-year-old man will appear in January.

Detective Inspector Craig McGrath from Major and Organised Crime Squad said he encourage people who observe suspicious activities in their neighbourhood to contact Crimestoppers.

"Information from the community assists greatly in identifying and disrupting these illegal activities."
