Cairns Criminal Investigation Branch detectives and Edmonton Police have charged a 22-year-old man following a search warrant at a unit in Sandown Close, Woree yesterday May 22.
Police allegedly seized a large quantity of packaged cannabis, along with more than $71,000 cash, multiple mobile phones, iPads, laptops, drug paraphernalia, and cannabis seeds.
The 22-year-old Mooroobool man was charged with one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs, four counts of supplying dangerous drugs, and one count each of possess dangerous drugs exceeding schedule 3, possess property from trafficking, possess property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence and possess utensils.
He is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on June 6.
