Drug Seizure at Gold Coast

Officers from the Gold Coast Major and Organised Crime Squad executed a search warrant yesterday at Parkwood, locating and seizing a significant quantity of dangerous drugs including, pills and powder suspected of being MDMA, cannabis and cash.

Police arrested and charged a 36-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman with a total of 16 offences including, trafficking in dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs and other drug related offences.

They are due to appear in Southport Magistrate Court on August 26.

"The Gold Coast Major and Organised Crime Squad is determined to make the Gold Coast Community a safer place by targeting those involved in the trafficking of dangerous drugs", Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Michael Bolin said.
