Drugs seized, man charged, NSW

A man has been charged after police allegedly located drugs and drug paraphernalia at a home in the state’s north west, NSW Police say.

About 3.30pm yesterday (Monday 3 December 2018), a search warrant was executed at a house on Church Street, Glen Innes, following an investigation by the New England Police District.

Police will allege during the search they located and seized a small amount of methylamphetamine and a large amount of cannabis.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Glen Innes Police Station.

He was charged with possess prohibited drug x4 and supply prohibited drug.

The man was released on conditional bail and is due to appear in Glen Innes Local Court on Wednesday 12 December 2018.
