Dubbo Council leadership following stay at home rules

Dubbo Region Mayor Stephen Lawrence is following the NSW Government's stay at home rules after spending time in Greater Sydney.

Mayor Lawrence was in Sydney on Monday, 21 June 2021 and has been abiding by the stay-at-home rules since the restrictions came into effect.

Under the restrictions, any person who has been in the Greater Sydney Area (GSA) is required to stay at home unless there is a reasonable excuse as per the NSW Health Order.

Dubbo Regional Council CEO Murray Wood was also in Sydney on Wednesday, 23 June 2021 and will subsequently follow the stay-at-home rules for the required timeframe.

As a result of tightening COVID-19 restrictions for regional NSW and the requirement for some Councillors and staff to stay home, the June 2021 Ordinary meeting of Council will be conducted online. Councillors and staff that are in their own residences for the meeting will not be required to wear masks.

Provisions will be made for Councillors and members of the public who have registered to appear via videolink from the Dubbo Civic Administration Building but all others are asked to watch via the Dubbo Regional Council Facebook page or dubbo.nsw.gov.au.
