Dublin Man Facing Weapons Charges

A Dublin man is facing weapons charges after police searched his property yesterday.

On Tuesday 23 December, Barossa CIB detectives searched a Dublin property and allegedly located three unregistered firearms, a crossbow, swords, knives, explosive detonators as well as a trafficable quantity of cannabis.

SAPOL's Bomb Technicians attended to assist to safely secure the detonators.

The firearms, weapons and cannabis were all seized by police.

A 37-year-old Dublin man was arrested and charged with possess firearm without a licence, possess an unregistered firearm, possess prohibited weapons and traffic in a commercial quantity of a controlled drug.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today, Wednesday 24 December.
