Eagle Vale Shooting Under Police Investigation

Police have commenced an investigation after multiple shots were fired at home in Sydney's southwest this morning.

About 4.30am (Wednesday 27 May 2026), police were called to a home on Sapphire Place, Eagle Vale, following reports of a shooting.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and were told a group of males had fired multiple shots at a house, before leaving the scene on foot and getting into a dark coloured ute nearby.

A black BMW sedan was also found outside the house well alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW attended the scene and extinguished the fire; however, the car was destroyed.

The occupants of the house were not injured.

A crime scene has been established, and police have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
