Detectives from the Arson Squad’s Strike Force Vulcan are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigation into a scrub fire in East Cannington yesterday.
At around 9:50am, Strike Force Vulcan officers and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the fire on Station Street near Elizabeth Street, WA Police say.
The fire damaged sheds, stables and fences in the area. Luckily no-one was injured.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and Strike Force Vulcan officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the fire who may have seen any suspicious person, vehicles or activity.
Anyone with any information regarding these incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
