The Albion Park town centre is set to come alive when the Winter edition of the Eats and Beats series arrives on Saturday 5 July from 4-8pm, with activations occurring throughout the evening.

The twilight event will bring a vibrant array of food, music, entertainment and activations to the Albion Park town centre.

"The Eats and Beats series is a wonderful initiative to shine light on our local town centres by inviting everyone to enjoy a special street-fest experience and bring the community together," Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said.

"It's going to be exciting to see the heart of Albion Park activated like never before, especially during the traditionally quieter winter period."

"We want to help boost the local night-time economy and this an incredible opportunity for local businesses to be showcased in a new dynamic way."

Andrea, owner of Delicious Delights on Tongarra Road is eagerly awaiting the special evening in Albion Park.

"Winter can be challenging for the night-economy with cold weather and the notion to stay home, but an event like this is a perfect incentive to get people out to mingle and have a great night out," she said.

As the sun sets on 5 July, visual effects and festoon lighting throughout Tongarra Road, laneways and the surrounding Mood and Melaleuca Parks will take on a magical winter atmosphere.

Mood Park will be buzzing with live performances from emerging local artists Kiara Castagna, Daniella Walker and Charlotte Hooper, while roving entertainers will also keep visitors on their toes all night.

A world of flavoursome food and dining options will be on offer with food trucks joining local eateries on the night to satisfy all types of cravings from spicy to sweet and everything in between.

The Drive-Through at Charlie's Liquor Barn will be transformed into a Twilight Tasting Zone, an inviting, pop-up experience styled with ambient lighting, seating and live acoustic tunes. The relaxed space will bring together local wine and food stalls offering complimentary tastings.

Activities for kids of all ages include Glow Face Painting, Lantern Decorating, A Silent Disco and Parkour will be available from 4pm.
