EcoCampTSU will begin August 20

This year the international volunteer camp EcoCampTSYU is being held at the TSU Siberian Botanical Garden and will be devoted to the problems of ecosystem conservation and issues of informed consumption. The participants will be 10 volunteers from Japan, Austria, Indonesia, Poland, and Russia with the support of Siberian Botanical Garden volunteers.

Running from August 20 to 29, the camp program will include the work of volunteers to care for plants in greenhouses and the park of the Siberian Botanical Garden and an educational program with workshops, educational lectures, and the exchange of experience related to waste processing, the use of plastic, fast fashion, informed consumption, and other topics.

The camp will host events open to anyone, such as an evening of international cuisine at Starbooks coffee shop and an eco-evening, where camp participants can discuss conscious consumption topics with indifferent citizens and talk about the experience of their countries.
