Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an indecent act on a train from Edithvale to Glenhuntly last month, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told that between 4.10pm and 4.20pm on Friday, 26 October, 2018, a male committed a sexual act on the train by exposing his genitals and masturbating in the presence of other commuters.
Detectives have released CCTV still images of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his late 20’s to early 30’s, around 180cm tall with a thin build, unshaven and long brown hair.
He was wearing a red t-shirt, tanned tradesmen utility shorts, tanned high cut boots, black backpack and carrying a light grey mountain bicycle at the time of the incident.
