Today, Jean Yip, Member of Parliament for Scarborough-Agincourt, on behalf of the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Natural Resources, Shafqat Ali, Member of Parliament for Brampton Centre, and Julie Dzerowicz, Member of Parliament for Davenport, announced a total investment of $14,863,599 to 32 organizations to install more than 2,350 EV chargers, 2,100 of which will be installed across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Through the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Demonstration Program, NRCan provided a $922,934 investment to the Ivy Charging Network for their Ontario Home & Roam Low Carbon EV Charging Ecosystem project, and $290,000 to SWTCH Energy Inc. to develop and demonstrate an improved EV charging experience for drivers in Ontario.

The 31 projects listed below were funded through Natural Resources Canada's Zero-Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP).

To easily access information online, the newly launched zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) infrastructure funding landing page is helping Canadian businesses and organizations find and access the funding opportunities best suited to their ZEV infrastructure projects. This tool was developed by Natural Resources Canada in collaboration with Infrastructure Canada and the Canada Infrastructure Bank.
