Emergency crews responding to house fire, Logan

Police are appealing for public assistance as part of their investigation into a house fire at Kingston early this morning, August 29.

Emergency crews were called to Myra Street around 2.30am after reports a house was fully engulfed by flames.

The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire and no one was injured in the blaze.

A crime scene has been set up and investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.

At this early stage in the investigation, it is still undetermined whether there are any suspicious circumstances.

Officers are asking nearby residents to check their CCTV and report anything to police that they believe could help the investigation.

Anyone with information is also urged to come forward.
