Emergency Ready Day Returns This September

Emergency Ready Day is returning to Koshigaya Park on Sunday 21 September, from 11am to 2pm.

This day encourages residents to consider their emergency preparedness and connect with local emergency services.

Residents can look forward to a fun-filled day for the whole family, including free face painting, lucky door prizes, interactive activities with emergency services and the chance to explore emergency trucks, vehicles and equipment up close.

"Emergency Ready Day is a fantastic opportunity for our community to interact directly with local emergency service representatives," Mayor of Campbelltown, Darcy Lound said.

"It offers the chance for all residents to gain expert insight, ask questions and get personalised advice on their emergency plans," Cr Lound said,

The event helps residents build the knowledge and confidence to respond safely in emergency situations, while also offering valuable information and practical tips on how to prepare for a range of potential emergencies.

Emergency Ready Day will include informational stalls hosted by emergency service representatives, including:

  • NSW State Emergency Service (SES)
  • Fire & Rescue
  • Rural Fire Service (RFS)
  • NSW Police Force
