Police searching for a 39-year-old man who allegedly escaped from a correctional facility on October 21 have arrested a man in Townsville early this morning, Queensland Police say.
At about 1am, the man was located at a North Ward address where he was taken into custody without incident.
The man was reported missing from the Townsville Correctional Centre Farm at about 7.20am following a morning headcount.
He has been charged with one count of escape from lawful custody and will appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on November 3.
