Evie Networks Upgrades Fast Charging in Queenscliff

Evie Networks, Australia's largest DC fast charging network, will take over operation of the electronic vehicle (EV) charging site at Queenscliff Town Hall from 14 May 2026. Previously operated by Chargefox, the site hosts two 50kW DC fast chargers across 4 bays.

The site also supports Autocharge, Evie's plug-and-charge feature that automatically identifies your vehicle and initiates billing the moment you plug in - no app or card required.

To facilitate the changeover, the EV chargers will be out of operation from Monday the 11th of May until Wednesday the 13th of May to allow works to occur. Works will only occur during 8am - 4pm.

The works involve upgrading the charging capacity to 50kW and upgrading the plugs to have 3CCS. In addition, instructional information will be provided on the chargers, including how to use them and how to install the Evie app.

Drivers can locate the Queenscliff Town Hall site and plan their charge via the Evie app or at evie.com.au.
