Expressions of Interest open for ACT Ministerial Advisory Council on Ageing

The Assistant Minister for Seniors, Veterans, Families and Community Services, Minister Emma Davidson, has today opened Expressions of Interest for the Ministerial Advisory Council on Ageing.

The Council enables critical links between the ACT Government and older Canberrans, providing strategic advice to Minister Davidson on issues affecting our older community. Expressions of interest are sought from members of the community with diverse backgrounds, experiences and abilities.

"Older people are one of the fastest growing demographics in Canberra, making forums like the Council critical to the future of our city and community. This is a valuable platform where community members can advise the ACT Government on policy development and decision-making that affects older Canberrans," Minister Davidson said.

"I encourage people from diverse backgrounds to apply so we can address the unique needs of our community and create a more inclusive city for older Canberrans."
