Council is excited to announce an invitation for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from First Nations artists to create a unique artwork for Council's first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Campaspe Shire Mayor, Cr Daniel Mackrell said this initiative aims to celebrate and promote reconciliation, connection, and community through the power of art.

"A Reconciliation Action Plan is a formal, long-term commitment that helps organisations contribute meaningfully to reconciliation in Australia by promoting cultural inclusivity, equity, and stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for artists to contribute to Council's reconciliation efforts while showcasing their artistic talent to a broader audience," he said.

The selected artwork will play a significant role in the Council's communication efforts, being featured across various platforms, documents, and marketing materials relating to the RAP.
