Saturday 10 January - Total Fire Ban

A Total Fire Ban has been declared for Saturday 10 January 2026, meaning no fires can be lit or allowed to remain alight in the open air.

The Fire Danger Rating is high.

The Memo, Healesville will be closed.

Warburton Bike Park will remain closed over the entire weekend, regardless of fire danger ratings.

Keeping our community safe and supporting emergency services is our focus. Warburton Waterworld splash park will also be closed.

An Emergency Relief Centre (ERC) is open for people impacted by the Longwood Fires at the Lilydale Basketball Stadium at 26 Hutchinson St Lilydale.

Friday 9 January - Extreme Fire Danger Rating

An Extreme Fire Danger Rating has been issued for Friday 9 September 2026.

These facilities and spaces in high-risk areas are closed to help keep everyone safe:

• Warburton Water World

• Olinda Outdoor Pool

• Arts Centre Warburton

• Karwarra Gardens

• Birdsland Reserve

• Warburton Bike Park

Other pools and water play areas in moderate risk zones will remain open. Closing these facilities and spaces helps minimise non-essential travel and reduces traffic and potential hazards in these areas during extreme conditions. Check the full list here: Pools & Water Play Parks

Our Community Links at Healesville and Upwey and The Memo, Healesville will also be closed.

Our links at Lilydale, Monbulk and Yarra Junction will be open, so if you need to come and chat to our friendly team you can. You can always give us a call on 1300 368 333 if you have any questions. Please note, the Healesville Library will remain open.

Wesburn Transfer Station will operate on limited hours, open from 8:30am to 11am.
