On Sunday the 31st of December 2017 Police arrested and charged a 32 year old male from Carlton for assault with indecent intent after he grabbed a female victim on the breast, Tasmania Police say.
The incident occurred in the mosh pit of the main stage at around 9.30pm and was witnessed by several persons who aided the victim. The perpetrator was identified by the victim and detained by security staff and taken into custody by Police shortly thereafter.
The male has since been bailed to appear in court at a later date.
Police were disappointed by the reported incidents of inappropriate behaviour, however patrons were generally well behaved and in good spirit.
