Family- Friendly Fringe Benefits Festival at Bridge Mall

What do Ballarat's leading young talent, a gin bar and a world record attempt have in common?

They're all part of the entertainment of Ballarat's Inaugural Fringe Benefits Festival this Friday, 29 November delivering 12 hours of music across 35 venues and featuring more than 120 artists.

Join the traders of The Bridge in celebrating Ballarat's inaugural Fringe Benefits Festival by soaking up the atmosphere of a mobile food haven with an array of tasty temptations with something for the whole family.

There will be a great mix of music from contemporary live entertainment to tunes of the 80s from Modish Disco.

Ballarat's own Kilderkin Distillery and Red Duck Beer will be launching a pop-up gin and beer bar, while Ballarat's favourite 'pop up' Masterchef contestant Tim Bone will be serving his famous toasties.

Lotus Eyes, an indie pop brother-sister duo from Ballarat made up of Brienna and Brodie Kamp, have been performing since 2016 and were recently featured on the SONKA Records album of the same name. Playing a mixture of covers and original songs, their influencers include Florence and the Machine, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and The Paper Kites.

They will perform between 7.00pm and 8.45pm.

Ballarat Health Services will be conducting face painting on the night, with proceeds going towards their campaign to create the world' longest, continuous line of coins, with each coin in the chain supporting wellness programs at the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre.
