Fast Stream programme climbs to top of league table based on survey of over 15,000 graduates across UK universities.
The Civil Service Fast Stream has triumphed at The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers Awards, taking the Number 1 spot ahead of all other graduate schemes across the country.
The programme also took home the Best Public Sector Employer title.
The ranking is based on research involving more than 15,000 final year students from universities across the UK, and sees the Fast Stream climb from second place last year.
The Fast Stream is the Civil Service's graduate development programme, taking participants through various roles across government departments over three to four years, with successful participants reaching Grade 7 level.
Ambition for the regions
This comes as the Government recently announced an ambition to have 50% of placements offered outside of London by 2030, making it increasingly possible for future leaders and managers to progress in their careers without ever needing to move to the capital.
