Fatal Aviation Incident At Blackall

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following a fatal aviation incident near Blackall on Monday morning, 20 April.

Emergency services were called to a Tumbar Road location around 9.30am following reports of a helicopter crash.

The pilot and sole occupant of the helicopter, a 42-year-old man, was declared deceased at scene.

Police will assist the Australian Transport Safety Bureau with their investigations into the cause of the incident.
