A 69-year-old Maroochydore man has died following a serious bicycle crash at Marcoola last week (November 17).
Investigations indicate around 4pm, the man was riding a bike south along David Low Way before colliding with a stationary vehicle, parked on the side of the road.
The man was initially transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition; however, he passed away from his injuries yesterday.
The Forensic Crash Unit continues investigating the incident and appeals to anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage from the area or who witnessed the incident to contact police.
