Police and emergency services are currently attending the scene of a fatal crash in Tongio this afternoon., Victoria Police say
Emergency services responded to reports of a ute down an embankment on the Great Alpine Road just after 3pm.
A 31-year-old Bruthen man, who was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
The Great Alpine Road is currently closed at Tongio and a short diversion is in place.
Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
