One person has died following the serious crash on Coast Road, Karitane, earlier today.
Police were called to the scene about 9.25am.
Sadly, one person died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit has carried out an examination and the road will reopen shortly.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
