Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash in which two people have died on the Bruce Highway at Kolonga, north of Gin Gin this afternoon., Queensland Police say
Initial information indicates just before 5.30pm a sedan, station wagon and a truck were involved in a collision on the highway.
As a result of the crash, the sedan caught fire with two of its occupied being declared deceased at the scene.
Four people from the station wagon sustained serious injuries and were transported to hospital.
The Bruce Highway was blocked for several hours with local diversions put in place.
Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
