Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal single-vehicle rollover near Dimboola this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports a truck had overturned while travelling east-bound along the Western Highway, 5km east of Dimboola, shortly before 4.30pm.
The male passenger, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The male truck driver was injured and taken to hospital via ambulance.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are en route to the scene.
The Western Highway is closed in both directions between Dimboola and Horsham.
