ASQA has published its full suite of finalised Practice Guides for the sector.
The Practice Guides aim to support the sector to meet the expectations and requirements of the revised Standards for RTOs, which come into effect on 1 July 2025.
The Practice Guides were initially published in draft form to enable training providers and other stakeholders to ask clarifying questions and provide feedback. All feedback on the draft Practice Guides has been considered and helped to inform these final versions.
The Practice Guides are not prescriptive and provide:
- examples of actions RTOs might wish to consider for demonstrating compliance with the Standards
- examples of known risks to quality outcomes
- self-assurance questions for RTOs to consider when assuring their practices and services against the Standards.
Practice Guides must be read alongside the revised Standards legislation to ensure regulatory obligations are fully met from 1 July 2025.
