  • 40 finalists announced for the 2021 WasteSorted Awards
  • The annual awards celebrate excellence and innovation in avoiding waste, recovering value from waste and protecting the environment
  • Environment Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson has announced the 40 finalists vying for top honours at the Western Australian 2021 WasteSorted Awards this May.

Previously known as the Infinity Awards, the annual WasteSorted Awards showcase some of the most remarkable projects and individuals working across Western Australia's waste sector.

Around 80 nominations were received across 10 categories, recognising individuals, businesses, government, schools, community organisations and not-for-profits for their innovative solutions to reduce waste and promote reuse and recycling.

Finalists have been interviewed and assessed by a judging panel of experts and the winners will be announced at the gala event on May 5, 2021 at the Westin Perth.
