Fire at Salisbury North hairdressers, South Australia

Police are investigating a fire at a hairdressing salon at Salisbury North overnight.

Police and fire crews responded to reports of a fire at business premises on Diment Road, Salisbury North at 3.20am on Wednesday 6 February.

The fire caused significant structural damage to the building. MFS crews were able to prevent the fire spreading to adjoining businesses but they were affected by smoke and water damage.

Fire cause investigators are at the scene of the fire, which is believed to have been deliberately lit.

Northern District CIB detectives will attend the scene this morning.
