Emergency services remain at the scene of fire which has damaged a shopping centre at Umina Beach this morning.
Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District and NSW Fire & Rescue personnel were called to the centre on Ocean Beach Road about 2:15am (Sunday 13 January 2019).
They found the eight-shop complex well-alight.
Efforts were made to contain the blaze; however, it has spread into the roof cavity where insulation continues to burn.
As the cause of the fire is still to be determined, it is being treated as suspicious.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
There were no reports of any injuries.
