First Aid In Times Of Disaster Training

Cabonne Council is offering free training for the community for 'First Aid in Time of Disaster'

Join us for an informative and hands-on morning of training delivered by qualified First Aid trainer, Jack Barnes. Participants must be aged 15 years and over.

Please note that this training is non-accredited and therefore you will not receive a certificate of completion.

This training is recommended for:

  • Parents and carers
  • Already qualified First Aid personnel that would like a (non-accredited) refresher
  • People living on rural properties/farmland
  • Anyone who hasn't had First Aid training before
  • Anyone who would like to build their disaster readiness knowledge

The course is being offered as a tailored program of Fist Aid essentials during times of disasters including:

  • Operating AED
  • CPR Theory - adults and babies
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Heatstroke/Dehydration
  • Shock
  • Wound care techniques
  • Burns First Aid
  • Heart Attack
  • Disaster Readiness
  • First Aid Mental Health
  • and more!
