The new schools in the pilot program are:

These schools join South Kalgoorlie Primary School, Dalyellup Primary School, Halidon Primary School, Banksia Grove Primary School and Roleystone Community College which have been running full-time kindergarten since the start of Term 1, 2026.
Why is the WA Government adding more schools to the full-time kindergarten pilot?
The WA Government committed to delivering the full-time kindergarten pilot at 10 schools across WA, including five regional schools. The pilot commenced in 2026 at five public schools and will be delivered at 10 public schools statewide in 2027, providing access to full-time kindergarten to more families across WA.
What if my school isn't part of the full-time kindergarten program?
Western Australian Public Schools not in the pilot program will continue to offer a kindergarten program across a five day fortnight. The Government is continuing to consider further options to strengthen early childhood education in WA and will take the outcomes and learnings from this pilot into account.
