Five teenagers charged after Sunshine armed robberies

Detectives from Brimbank Divisional Response Unit have charged four teenagers and one woman following two incidents in Sunshine this week.

The alleged armed robbery and robbery occurred at the Sunshine Railway Station on 29 August and 31 August respectively.

A 16-year-old female from Deer Park was charged with armed robbery, robbery, unlawful assault, false imprisonment and commit indictable offence on bail.

A 16-year-old female from West Footscray was charged with armed robbery, two counts of robbery and commit indictable offence on bail.

Both 16-year-olds' charges relate to the incident on 29 August and both were remanded to a children's court at a later date.

A 17-year-old St Albans female has been charged in relation to both incidents with armed robbery, two counts of robbery, unlawful assault, false imprisonment, theft, and two counts of commit indictable offence on bail.

She was also remanded to appear at a children's court at a later date.

A 17-year-old Craigieburn female was charged to the incident on 31 August with robbery, theft and commit indictable offence on bail.

She was bailed to a children's court at a later date.

An 18-year-old woman was charged with assault police indictable, assault police summary and commit indictable offence on bail, her charges also relate to the incident on 31 August.

The Fitzroy woman was bailed to appear before Sunshine Magistrates' Court on 10 September.
