Five times over limit in East Melbourne

A woman was found to be allegedly five times over the alcohol limit following a collision in East Melbourne last night.

Police were called to a collision at the intersection of Lansdown and Albert streets about 11pm.

It is alleged a car crashed into the back of a Jeep wagon, then reversed and collided with another car.

There were no injuries.

The driver, a 58-year-old Toorak woman, was taken to a police station for an evidentiary breath test.

Her licence was immediately suspended after she returned an alleged reading of .263.

It is expected the woman will be charged on summons in relation to drink driving and other traffic matters.
