Flinders University has posted a strong result in uncertain times, remaining in the world's top 300 universities in the 2022 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Colin Stirling welcomed the result as an affirmation of Flinders' education and research excellence.
"We continue to see very strong performance in leading performance indicators including a 44% increase in research funding. We can confidently expect these improvements to be reflected in the interational rankings in due course.
"The current pandemic has created unexpected challenges but Flinders University staff have shown themselves to be both ready and able to rise to these in order to continue to deliver an outstanding educational experience for our students.
"Our ongoing investments in high quality research and educational performance will ensure that our growth trajectory continues and we see exciting times ahead," Professor Stirling says.
