Flint fatal crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Squad are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Flint last night, Thursday 28 February 2021.

Sometime between 10pm and 11.15pm, a woman was driving a green Ford Falcon sedan along the Brookton Highway when near Watershed Road, the vehicle left the road and struck several trees.

The vehicle caught fire, starting a bushfire. Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended and extinguished the fires.

The driver and sole occupant, a 53-year-old woman died at the scene.

Major Crash investigators would like to speak to any who saw the crash or the Ford Falcon sedan travelling in the area prior to the crash, and urge anyone with information relating to this crash to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
