ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:
MINOR FLOODING IS NO LONGER OCCURRING AT KALKARINDJI
Minor flooding is no longer occurring along the upper Victoria River at Kalkarindji.
Further showers are forecast for the Victoria River catchment over the next few days. The situation is being monitored and forecasts and warnings will be issued as required.
A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Bonaparte, North West Coastal and Carpentaria Coastal River catchments.
Upper Victoria River:
Minor flooding is no longer occurring along the upper Victoria River.
The Victoria River at Kalkarindji is currently at 5.55 m and falling, below the minor flood level (9.00 m). The Victoria River at Kalkarindji is expected to remain below the minor flood level.
This warning is now cancelled.
